WORKGROUP RULES

Version 1.0 (WGR.v1.0)

WGR-1. Workgroup Participants - either members or external collaborators - perform all tasks on a voluntary basis, in their own time, on their own expense, with their own equipment and consumables, and on their own premises. They are not entitled to receive any sort of compensation or remuneration for their Workgroup-related activities.

WGR-2. Unless being specifically nominated to the role of "Author", "Co-author"or "Contributor", the Participant's activities and outcomes do not constitute any sort or degree of authorship contribution to the prepared or commented manuscript or other material or output.

WGR-3. The Author(s), Editor(s) or Publisher(s) have the right to freely accept or reject, and to freely utilize or not to utilize, any or all activities, comments or other outcomes of Workgroup Participants. We reserve the right to ban or restrict access to our activities and/or websites to anyone and at any time, without explanation and without notice.

WGR-4. We can monitor and document our activities and activities of our partners and affiliates in the Workgroup spaces created on our premises or in our electronic resources. Unless required otherwise by laws and binding regulations, this surveillance may include online monitoring and tracking tools such as cookies, Google Analytics, hit counters, access passwords, user accounts, and other, with or without specific notice or warning, and with or without providing further detailed information. All Participants must agree to such usage, and promise not to complain about our monitoring practices, and promise not to block, circumvent, alter, fool or falsify any of the monitoring means. Providing false, confusing or deceptive information is prohibited. Using nicknames and anonymous accounts is allowed and it is all right to hide your official identity, unless you are requested to provide true personal information. Providing personal information is always voluntary, although it may be a condition for accessing certain data, activities or websites.

WGR-5. Any and all materials (e.g., manuscripts, Peer-Reviewers' comments, suggestions, etc.) submitted directly to Redaction are the property of our Redaction. If the receiving party (e.g., the designated e-mail recipient) for such materials is a third-party mediator or other external collaborator, the ownership resides with that receiving party (and such receiving party is then solely responsible for proper transfer / delivery to the CRICKETT Redaction). Unless negotiated otherwise, the Redaction does not resend, return or acknowledge any of the received items (e.g., letters, mail, posts, messages, electronic communication, data carriers, parcels, etc.).

WGR-6. Any and all materials are considered non-public and unpublished until the moment of their official press release. The same applies for all cases of group-preview or mass-preview actions or similar activities and for the eventual associated multi-source comments-collection procedures. This all also applies even for cases when the external collaborators are invited from ranks of the broadest general public.

WGR-7. The future existence, or the chronological order, quality, or the time of authoring or editing or publishing the next or previous parts of multi-part works (such as book series, update or follow-up articles, etc.) are neither known nor guaranteed.

WGR-8. Any and all donations, membership dues, or other incomes credited to us or collected for our support, are always strictly non-refundable. Discontinuing the membership status, abandoning external collaboration(s), or workgroup disassembly / cancellation does not affect this no-refund policy.

WGR-9. In unclear or conflicting situations, the Workgroup Manager has the ultimate decision power, which includes setting additional rules specific for the given Workgroup. In exceptional cases, the Redaction or higher management can intervene as well, and the priority is given to decisions made by the highest managerial level involved.

WGR-10. These Rules can be modified at any time and without prior notice. All Participants must inform the CRICKETT Redaction about all current, previous, future, intended or planned violations of these Rules, including their own violations and violations by any other people or devices, suspected or proven. By using this web site and/or by reading or otherwise using the materials described or linked in this web site or in other locations used by Workgroups, you agree to abide to the current version of these Rules, unconditionally and in full. If you cannot or do not want to do so, or if your ability or willingness to do so changes at a later time, please stop using this web site without delay, and immediately delete or destroy all copies and forms of materials acquired or taken from us or the Workgroups.
